The research center of the ecologic foundation ‘Gabriel Arango Restrepo’, is located inside the reservation of the ‘Rio Blanco’, in the old land known as ‘Viveros’.

In the house that is found strategically near the place, 2550 meters above sea level, the ‘Proyecto Osos’ (Bear Project by its name in Spanish) and the Hostel have been established, as well as the lodging for the researchers and scientifics who visit the reservation and which has room for 40 persons. Besides, you can find a butterflies museum and a photograph exposure.
