Basin Neighbors On a regular basis, meetings are held with the farmers from the surrounding villages "Las Palomas, El Desquite, Gallinazo and Montaño", in order to give out information about projects that are under development, as well as exchanging educational and life experiences once a month. All of this is done looking to raise awareness through educational chats where they are trained in the protection and disclosure of the various species, which will be reflected in the conservation of Rio Blanco.
This valuable group of farmers and villagers in the region constitutes the protective backbone of nature. They implement their common sense for conservation and respect for their environment, therefore becoming continuing multipliers and guardians of this great reserve.
Currently, visits and tours are being organized, seeking recognition and corrective action needed to curb deforestation and the relentless man hand.
